Who we are

yearview.app is operated by SelfCare, Lda., a Portuguese limited company with registered office at Av. Duque D'Ávila, Nº 46, 3º A, 1050-086 Lisboa, Portugal, tax number 510 803 890.

The service

yearview.app is a visual yearly planner with optional sync to Google Calendar. The service is provided "as-is".

This is an early version. There may be bugs, outages, and feature changes. There is no guaranteed SLA at this time.

Your account

Authentication is done exclusively via Google OAuth. We do not ask you for a password — all account security depends on the security of your Google account.

You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, revoke the app's permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and contact us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use the application for unlawful purposes or to send unlawful/offensive content.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service with malicious intent.
• Use bots or scraping to extract data in bulk from the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these points.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you create in the app (blocks, categories, etc.). You grant us only the minimum license necessary to host and process that content, and to push it to your Google Calendar when you enable that sync.

We do not use your content to train AI models, do not share it with third parties, and do not monetise it.

Payments

At this stage the service is free. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we commit to giving at least 30 days' notice by email, and you will remain on a free plan (potentially with limits) — we will not retroactively cut access.

Limitation of liability

yearview.app is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for data loss, even though we run regular database backups.
• We are not liable for missed events or wrong scheduling resulting from bugs, Google Calendar sync failures, or service downtime.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use (or inability to use) of the service.

This limitation does not exclude liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor non-excludable rights under EU consumer law.

Deleting your account

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing rui.alves@rupeal.com. Your application data and OAuth tokens are deleted within 30 days. Details at https://yearview.app/privacy?lang=en.

Changes to the service and to the terms

We may change the service (add, remove, modify features) at any time. If a change materially affects what you can do with your account, we give reasonable advance notice.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the latest version. If a change is material, we notify you by email before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts in Portugal, without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer.
